Attached is our newsletter informing you of some of the activities coming up over the next few months, including the Post-Copenhagen meeting, future films, etc.

The T10 (Transition Decade) has now been launched and WREC wishes to join with other groups in the West of Melbourne to ensure we can provide a cohesive and coordinated campaign to turn the 'Titanic' around. Meetings are being planned for several municipalities and we are keen to help hold such a meeting in your area.

If you can help, or your group would like to hold such a meeting, let us know and we will asist with publicising, etc. We are also establishing a 'film library' to enable local groups to show films (including Food Inc, Age of Stupid, The Cove, etc.).

As part of the ACF's Green Home Project they are offering a free 2-day leadership workshop to help people who want to improve their skills as environmental 'leaders'. WREC is a partner with ACF for this program and we urge you to consider taking advantage of it.

If this is not directly applicable to you perhaps you know of someone  (preferably residing in the outer west of Melbourne) who you might be able to involve with this program - we need people to become environmental leaders in this region and this provides a valuable opportunity.

Places are limited so please get in touch with Michelle (see attached) if you or someone you know is interested in participating.
